An evening with Michael Palin (legendary!)

This week we had the enormous privilege of selling books at Michael Palin's Glasgow tour stop at the wonderful Pavilion Theatre.

Michael is currently touring his latest volume of diaries, There and Back, the first volume to be published in a decade.

Michael was endlessly patient, signing hundreds of books with good humour and sharing stories of his travels. We also discussed our shared industrial heritage (we should do more to celebrate it!) and the need for better public transport (couldn't agree more!)

We still can't quite believe that we got to spend time with one of our all time heroes, it was an exhilarating, and exhausting, day - really unforgettable.
